AlignCue is a general-wellness focus app. During a live session, it can compare the current orientation of compatible AirPods with a reference position that you save and play a gentle cue when the difference reaches your chosen sensitivity. AlignCue does not measure posture, spinal alignment, pain, or any health condition, and it is not a medical device. This policy explains what data is and is not involved.
When you wear compatible AirPods and start a live session, AlignCue receives headphone orientation data through Apple's Core Motion framework. It compares that data with the neutral reference that you saved for the current session. This processing happens on your iPhone, in real time, and is never transmitted to or stored on any server. Session duration, cue count, and local history are saved only on your device. Deleting the app removes them.
These orientation comparisons are only used to time general-wellness reminders. They do not determine whether your posture is healthy or unhealthy and should not be used for diagnosis, treatment, or medical decisions.
Your name, goals, and onboarding answers are stored locally on your device to personalize the experience. They are not uploaded to us.
If you buy a subscription, the transaction is handled by Apple through the App Store. We use RevenueCat, Inc. as our subscription-management provider to verify and manage your subscription status. For this purpose, RevenueCat processes your purchase history and an anonymous app-generated user identifier. This identifier is not your name, email, or Apple ID, and it is not used to track you across apps or websites. See RevenueCat's privacy policy and Apple's privacy policy.
If you enable reminders, they are scheduled locally on your device. We do not run a push server and do not receive any data when a reminder fires.
Apple Health integration is optional and off by default. If you enable it, AlignCue requests write-only permission to save completed focus sessions as Mindful Minutes. AlignCue does not read health data and does not write posture or body measurements.
You can revoke Motion & Fitness or Apple Health access at any time in iOS Settings. You can delete your local session history from within AlignCue Settings, and removing the app erases the app's on-device data. Records already written to Apple Health can be managed in the Health app.
AlignCue is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from them.
